Background
The client has an established consumer brand in Taiwan and is preparing to enter the U.S. market. The brand is not named here and will be identified publicly only with the client's approval.
The starting position is a common one: strong domestic performance, a clear product, and an open question about whether the brand story and price architecture survive the move to an American customer.
Business objective
To build a market-entry plan that can be executed in phases — with a defined stop point between each — rather than committing to a full launch before the market has responded.
Market opportunity
Arizona offers a launch market that is large enough for results to be meaningful but small enough that a first attempt can be adjusted without writing off a national rollout. Its metro sub-markets also allow for testing across quite different customer profiles within a short drive.
Large enough for the result to mean something. Small enough that a first attempt can be adjusted.

Current progress
- Market-entry strategy development, including phased scenarios and stop points.
- U.S. company setup planning, with structure options under review by professional advisors.
- Brand localization work — positioning, naming considerations, and how the origin story is told.
- Customer and market positioning analysis against comparable brands already in market.
- Packaging and retail considerations, including labelling and compliance questions.
- Commercial real-estate evaluation for potential retail or operational space.
- Coordination between legal, accounting and other professional advisors.
- Launch planning and phased execution sequencing.
CnC Venture's role
We coordinate the preparation across workstreams that would otherwise run separately and collide: making sure the entity structure supports the distribution model, that the localization decisions are compatible with compliance requirements, and that the real-estate evaluation reflects the business model rather than the other way round.
We also maintain the phasing discipline — protecting the stop points so that each phase has to earn the next.
Next phase
Finalising the entry structure, completing localization decisions, and defining the first-phase launch scope with the criteria that would justify proceeding to phase two.
